In original, as-found condition with no chips or cracks. Good straight cabinet with no warping. 75 years worth of "patina" on it and it looks great. Cleaning and polishing would make it look terrific, but some may prefer the patina so I've made no attempt to enhance it for this listing.

I used to connect a radio like this to the dial stop on the family telephone. And so that's the only way I know to test it. But of course I have no dial stop any more, and no land-line phone, so this radio will have to remain untested.

The book "Toy Crystal Radios" says this radio is supposed to have a red plastic back, but I don't know--I've seen this radio with a back and I've also seen it without. This one, as you see in the pictures, has no back. Made in USA.
