These fine shoes are nice and supple--not stiff or hardened anywhere. They are very comfortable I am sure, with that special fit and feel of the classic American-made Vans. Size indicated on the shoes is 4 and on the box it says "Boy's 4." I do not know what the equivalent size is in women's or men's sizes. The bottom of each shoe measures 3-3/8 inches wide at the widest part and 9-1/8 inches long.
